History of The Red Barn at Danville Springs
The old Decker Barn opened as a nightclub/bar/wedding venue in 1969 by Ed and Chickie Wist as part of their campsite, "Guestward Ho". For 10 years they held square dances on Saturday nights and rock & roll parties on Friday nights.
In 1979 they sold The Barn to Duane and Beatty Daddis, the current owner/operators, who continued the tradition and added dinner theatre into the mix. In recent years, the emphasis has been on providing a top quality wedding/party venue.
